We also need to get the info to Bo Bilicki which can be included in his Art presentation at our affair. Also please bring any pictures of previous dinners that we can share memories and might reproduce in this year’s program.

The International Boxing Hall of Fame Weekend events are upon us. Dates are Thursday June 10th to Sunday June 13th. Buffalo World Champion Rocky Kansas is being inducted into the Legends Category. We have and are seizing an opportunity to show positive representation to the Kansas Family and Fellow member Mark Tozzo who is his nephew and a long standing member and supporter of our organization. I and many others (Officers included) plan on being there. Please contact me or any other member that you know who plans on going and when. We might consider meeting at some point joining Mark and the Tozzo family and again sharing our joy and participation. I have been in touch with Mr. Ed Brophy the President and he has gone out of his way to make all aspects of the affair user friendly to us and our organization. Looking forward to seeing you there. I can be reached at (716) 856-9365 and Jim Brown is (716) 773-5591.

A future source of fun and activities was suggested and received very well by the group. Danny DiLiberto opened the door to a BVBA “Pool Tournament”. Everyone liked the idea and is willing to organize and participate. We can work it into Classic Cue Billiards on Transit Rd. Carl Galante and his staff at Classic Cue are the best. Danny DiLiberto is the best but Which Ring 44 member is the “Best of the Rest?” I plan on competing, how about you. More will come on the time and committee development of this program. Remember to take advantage of Sports and Leisure; Ring44 .com and Bob Winkler at http://esf.uvm.edu/vtbox

Finally I am going to complete this newsletter on some disturbing news however I have no doubt that all of us who know Pancho Padilla will want to know about his present condition and seize the opportunity to reconnect with him. His health is becoming seriously challenged and he is relocating to this area to attend to his condition. We have the ability and the desire to get together with him. We will discuss this and continue plans and action. I have his daughter’s information and we will be in constant touch with the family and facilitate and coordinate all opportunities to be a part of his comfort zone.

Thank you for your participation and involvement in making a difference and especially the work and effort you provide which results in the rewards brought on by the impact of the good will and leadership and entertainment of our sport. You are an awesome fraternity. I am truly proud to be a part of this. And remember, as always

“Keep Punchin” See you at the shows.

Sincerely Yours

Jack Green

President
